Another car explosion storms Niger state.

A car bomb has exploded outside a Church during the Sunday service in Suleja, Niger state, wounding five people.
One person was seriously injured in the blast and has being rushed to the hospital while four others sustained minor injuries.
According to eye witness account, the bomb had been wrapped with a motorcycle chain, and it sent metal shrapnel flying everywhere when the explosive detonated. The explosionblew away the engine compartment of the abandoned car and damaged four other parked vehicles. The explosion occurred on Morocco road in Suleja.
Narrating how the explosion occurred, the Pastor of the Christ Embassy Church, Pastor Uyi Idugboe, told journalists that the explosion happened just after 10 am as the church began its service. Security guards at the church had noticed something suspiciousby the abandoned car, prompting the pastor to call everyone inside the church before the service began, he said.
According to, Yushau Shuaib, a spokesman with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the blast happened in an areanear hotels in the city, just outside of a Christ Embassy church.
No one has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
The state has witnessed series of bomb attacks by the fundamentalist sect, Boko Haram such as the Christmas day bombing of a church in Madalla, which claimed about 44 lives. Some gunmen also killed two police officers last week as they drove through a check point.
Police authorities have cordoned off the explosion zone as people desert the zone.
